Shemtob Draganosky Taylor Partner Speaks on Panel at Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section 2020 Winter Meeting
BLUE BELL, Pa. (January 2020) – Experienced family law attorney and Shemtob Draganosky Taylor partner Andrew D. Taylor recently spoke on a panel of distinguished attorneys and judges at the PBA 2020 Family Law Section Winter Meeting. Held on Saturday, Jan. 18 in Hershey, the session entitled “Major Milestones in Pennsylvania Family Law: The Landmark Cases” featured attorneys who have argued momentous family law cases before the Pennsylvania appellate courts. Taylor discussed the case of Hanrahan v. Bakker, a 2018 case he argued before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court dealing with high income child support issues.
Taylor has practiced family law exclusively for over 15 years. He is experienced in all aspects of Pennsylvania family law, including equitable distribution, alimony, child support, child custody and abuse matters. He regularly argues appeals before the Pennsylvania Superior Court involving complex family law issues, and has argued before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Active in the Montgomery County family law community, Taylor is a frequent speaker and author and has appeared on television and radio programs to discuss family law topics. Taylor has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® for several years, has attained an “AV Preeminent®” rating by Martindale-Hubbell, and has been named a “Super Lawyer” by the publisher of Pennsylvania Super Lawyers, an honor given to the top five percent of attorneys in Pennsylvania
Taylor graduated magna cum laude from Mansfield University in 2000 and earned his law degree from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law in 2003. He joined Shemtob Draganosky Taylor in 2014 and became a named partner of the firm in January 2019.
