Taylor, Esq. was recently elected to serve as Treasurer of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section at the organization’s 2026 summer meeting in Chicago.
A professional membership organization representing nearly 1,000 family lawyers and law students statewide, the PBA Family Law Section provides ongoing education to attorneys, tracks new legislation and provides resources to its members in all facets of domestic relations practice.
Taylor has practiced family law exclusively for over 20 years and is widely known for his family law appellate work. He is experienced in all aspects of Pennsylvania family law, including equitable distribution, alimony, child support, child custody, and abuse matters. He regularly argues appeals before the Pennsylvania Superior Court involving complex family law issues, and has argued before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Active in the Montgomery County family law community, Taylor is a frequent speaker and author and has appeared on television and radio programs to discuss family law topics. Taylor has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® for several years, has attained an “AV Preeminent®” rating by Martindale-Hubbell, has been named a “Super Lawyer” by the publisher of Pennsylvania Super Lawyers, and has been named among Ten Leaders in the Greater Philadelphia area for Divorce Law.
Taylor graduated magna cum laude from Mansfield University in 2000 and earned his law degree from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law in 2003. He joined Shemtob Draganosky Taylor Stein, PC in 2014 and became a named partner of the firm in January 2019.
